How It Works

Web pages acan be set for DRM, copy protection or public. When pages are protected by Token the user will require a token for that page. Pages protected by Member access are part of the member pool and available to all Economy and Premium members. Members cannot access a token page without a token. Demo users can only access their own test pages. FIf you have questions please Contact Us.

Getting Started

When logging in as a member or using a link for Token access, you will find that the ArtisBrowser is required. If you do not already have the latest vversion of ArtisBrowser installed you can download it here.

Once you have Artisbrowser installed you can use it to login. When logged in you will find indexes for locating the Tokens you may have purchased and the pages that are accessible for your type of membership.

DRM Tokens

First thing to realise is that DRM is not "copy protection". DRM is user access control, the permission to view content. Too many people refer to "password protection" as DRM but it does not prevent sharing. Real DRM provides access to media for the designated user only, and it cannot be shared. Our DRM Tokens not only limit who can access media, but also from which type of device, the number of different devices that can be used, and it can set expiry by calendar date, number of views or number of days from first use.

Copy Protection

Copy protected pages cannot be saved, downloaded or copied by using any method including PrintScreen, screen capture, screen recording or by using packet sniffers or media grabbers. Sure, anyone can take a remote photo of a computer screen while using a mobile phone, but those who go to that trouble will not only be getting poor quality, but they will also get infamy if you opted to use the watermarking options. In fact the copy that they distribute will be the best proof needed to sue them (their identity will be embedded into their recording).

ArtisBrowser

All users are required to download and install the ArtisBrowser to view copy protected pages. Normal web browsers cannot be used because they are all useless for copy protection. ArtisBrowser is specially designed to cater for "copy protected" web pages and it is available for all OS including Windows, Mac OSX, iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android phones.

File Uploads

Guest Video is a complete package that includes cloud file storage. All images, PDF and video gets uploaded to our cloud and each upload is recorded in the database to provide indexes for easy management.

Categories will help you find stuff.

Collections

A Collection is a series of pages that make up a section or set of lessons (online course) that can be defined for Token sales. For example a user can purchase a token online for "Mathematics Year One" that may include a number of lesson pages. When creating a Token or product you have the option of enabling the Token for an individual Page or a Collection.
